UI Contest winners announced

Over on Dusan Writer's blog the winners of his UI redesign contest have been announced.

Of course I also blogged my own thoughts about the UI and how I think it should be redesigned and mine is (naturally in my possibly biased view) better than any of the other…

However, congratulations to:

Rheta Shan for her "toolbox" concept which won the day;
Jacek Antonelli got a big mention for her Inventory window rewrite (which I must admit I would love to have right now and unashamedly borrowed directly into my redesign ideas);
Roy Cassini for his efforts to make it easier for new users to learn about.

It will be interesting to see if there is any official reaction to this contest and how the redesign of the UI that has sort of started with the "Silver" look in 1.20 will continue.
